Annabel Goode Fund

Annabel was a beautiful little girl who was always smiling and giggling. She loved her school, going to ballet and swimming lessons and absolutely adored her little 3 year old brother, Elliot.

In August 2003, Annabel developed an occasional squint in one eye and seemed slightly unsteady on her feet. On 5th September 2003 she was diagnosed with having a brain tumour, a brain stem glioma.

Annabel showed through her illness, absolute courage and determination to live life to the full and was an inspiration to everyone that she came in contact with. She tragically died whilst in the arms of her family at the end of November, eighteen days after her 6th birthday.

Joanne and David, Annabel's parents are devastated at their loss, and have joined SDBTT in a joint effort to help prevent other children from this tragedy.

Over £800 was given in Annabel's memory from friends and family, and a further £2,200 raised from Annabel's school, 'The Hawthorns' in Wokingham.

Fundraising

Serena Brinkman organised an 80's night at their local pub in Painswick and raised £145.  The pub landlord provided the venue and DJ for free and donations were requested from all the locals who came along.

It was a great fun night!
