Judith Watterson died from a Glioblastoma Multiforme at the age of 27 in April 2001. Judith was studying for a PhD in Georgraph-thesis despite her battle with brain cancer for nearly three years. Her parents are so proud of Judith's achievements, and her courageous and matter-of-fact way she dealt with her illness.
In her memory, a donation has been made towards Professor David Walker's project 'Introduction of guidance to shorten symptom interval and enhance access to diagnostic pathways for CNS tumours in children and young adults'.
Judith's family wanted to support the Trust and help us make a difference for future brain tumour sufferers.
